Webkinz at a Bargain

Hi, everyone my niece Amanda has a B-Day coming up soon! “April 12″ to be exact… Anyway, I have decided to throw her a Webkinz themed Birthday Party!! I know she will just love this!! So, I have a pretty good Idea on how I’m going to accomplish this… Most of the regular Party games you normally would use can easily be converted to a Webkinz themed game with a little thought.

I figured, all I really would have to do as far as Webkinz Prizes! Is get some webkinz animals, trading cards, or maybe even some Kinz cash certificates. Maybe even go to my local Flowershop down the street and see if they have any type or arrangements I can use that will stay with the same sort of theme I’m going for…

Also, as far as the actual Party Game Ideas!! ” Maybe something like this!”

• Spin the wheel
• Limbo ( Always Fun!! to watch everyone try and do this LOL :-)”
• Bingo
• Musical Chairs ( Ofcourse, Miley Cyrus tunes!! )
• Ring Toss
• Some Webkinz Trivia ( That ought to take up quite a bit of time… And be real fun!!)

I thought, maybe some candy bags ( Whats a Party with out this)

But, then I thought maybe a little light on the candy and more on some little trinkets and stuff!! ” Better on your next Dental Visit!! :-)” So, again I thought maybe some webkinz charms, notepads,erasers,pencils, again probably trading cards. I had actually thought that maybe I can go down to the party shop and ask the guy or girl who makes the pinatas… If they could make me a Webkinz Pinata!! ” Thats still a possibility… I guess I have a little time to figure that one out.”

Birthday Cake Time!!

I can handle this one!! I love baking Cakes & Cupcakes… Mostly Cup cakes! But on this occasion I believe I will stick with the cake… At least for now, until I find out exactly how many kids will be coming to this party! Thats why it’s always “Important!!” to get right on that list as soon as possible. A good rule of thumb, from what I have learned in the past is: If you have parents with there children a cake is almost definately the way to go! If the party has a ton of kids then Cup cakes would be the answer!

Another cool thing about cup cakes is that each one of them, I can try and put a different Webkinz Pet on each one! “May have to create some stencils to do this though.” As far as Party Bags, Hats, Plates, Napkinz, Balloons, Banners, Table Covers, Wheeeweee!! I believe the best way to handle this… Is just go to your neighborhood Party Shop and look around  for Pastel Colors ” Thats what I’m going to do” It will save you a lot of money going this route. Plus, I believe the pastel colors would match perfectly and make it quite beautiful!

So, thats the plan so far! I just thought I would share these ideas with you guys incase sometime in the future you are needing some Ideas on putting toghether a Birthday Party or just a Webkinz party for that matter! Well, I going to head down to the Party Shop and see what I can come up with!!  Hope you all have a Great and Awesome day!!

Good Morning everyone or should I say ”afternoon/night” depending where you are at in the world… I hope you are all able to benefit a little from this guide to Kinville Academy! As you may already be familiar with the Super Smart and always hard at work Ms. Cowonline the Superintendent who runs the Academy!

Well, as of right now we have really only two catagories for courses:

The Basic courses- ( Which is recommended for every Academy student.)

• Strength
• Agility
• Physical
• Intellegence
• Style
• Creativity
• Mental
• Speed

Talent courses for your Pet: ( They are only offered for a very limited time, and used to  compete in school competitions.)

Starting with…

Running: (Agility Course) You will notice a meter with a target box right underneath your little guys treadmill. All you have to do is move the spinner to make your little guy run. “Important!” Make sure you keep your meter in the target box!”

Weight Lifting: ( Strength Course) You will see two green looking boxes on a meter with a button that says “lift” at the very bottom. All you have to do is lift the weight until it’s in the highest green box, then just drop it in the bottom green box. ” and your set!”

Painting: ( Creativity Course) Here you have a spinning template! Adjust the spin to the correct spin to make the art project image about the same as the one you create. “Ofcourse” the faster it spins, the more splatter you will have.

Well thats about it! ( At least for right now… I am sure there will be plenty more in the next few months…)

I have also heard there will be other school competitions, which will require that you have taken a Special Talent Course!

Upcoming Courses to  “look out for!”: 

• Language ( Another Intellegence Course)
• Fashion ( And ofcourse Style) ” I love this one!! :-)”
• Track & Field ( another Agility Course)

Now for a little bit more detail:

Now, as you may have already guessed… Your first class you are starting is at grade 1. And just like your school goes all the way up to grade 10. And to move up to through each course it’s going to cost you 50KC! ” But hey isn’t your little guy worth it!!  :-)”  If you have to for any reason, need to higher a tutor you do not actually have to play the game to get passed a level. “But!!” it will end up costing you 250KC!

Reasons you should join Kinzville Academy:

1. If you pass all 10 grades for all the basic courses, you ” Guess what!” You get your Kinzville Diploma. Yayyy!!
2. And if you you pass 5 grades in one course, you get a badge. And what special about the badge is this allows you to unlock a specific action for your action tab. For example: Heres what you will get for competing certain courses…

 Running: ( Roll Over)

Paint: (Blow a Kiss)

Weight Lifting: ( Stamp Foot )

Not offered yet ( But soon to be coming!!)

Track & Field ( Jump)

Language ( Hide Eyes )

Fashion ( Dance)

The Special Action for you little guys Talent Course in not known yet.

3. And finally after you complete all ten grades of one specific course, you will recieve a very rare and special gift!!! “Nice!!”

Hey, everyone hope you all had a great week-end!! It has now been confirmed 4 new webkinz are scheduled to be released in april! Something that I found very interesting was that one of the Li’l Kinz will not have a “brother or sister!” Oh, well I guess that’s kind of the natural way things happen in life… Which in turn will probably mean that the little guy will get a lot of attention ” Not a bad deal!” But, we must be careful we don’t want to spoil him or her to badly Hee Hee!

So far the new Webkinz coming into our world will be: The  Webkinz Leapard Lizard “I guess the tiger snake will have a good pal to hang with!” The Webkinz American Cocker Spaniel, The Webkinz Chicken, and last but not least… The Lil’ Kinz White Mouse ” I think this may be the one with-out a brother or sister” Might want to keep this little guy away from the lizard at least until we get to know the lizard a bit better!

So, it seems to me that Ganz is really trying to keep up with there schedule and trying to get these little guys out every month! Also, If you love Miley Cyrus like I do… And have seen her picture on the everything Miley Cyrus page I created with her Dalmation” Awesome picture!” Anyway, If you check out the New releases 2007-2008 page… You will see a Webkinz Dalmation I just added ” I believe Miley would love this” Heck!! she probably has one!

Well, I have to head out for awhile….Oh, and by the way I aced the surprise exam “Yaaaayee!!” just incase you were wondering. I will be adding a Guide to the Kinzville Academy for all you guys soon! Hey, everyone I heard in the news that our beloved Barbie Dolls are remaining on the shelves. Myself, personally I know ever since I got involved with Webkinz “haven’t really taken a second look at poor Barbie” even my nieces who were Barbie fanatics don’t seem to care much for thier collection anymore. Well, when you really think about it… Webkinz offers so much more interaction It’s a world created where you can share with one another. Barbie just kinda faded into the background… I know they had to see this coming… ” I wonder why they never really went full bore to try and compete” I guess they didn’t really think that Webkinz would catch on as well as it did!

I have even heard that there are young girls right now trading in their Barbie Doll Houses for Keyboards! But don’t count them out just yet… At least from what I understand Mattel & Hasbro and also the makers of Bratz  are trying to put together their own virtual playground. ” I guess will see how that turns out” But quite frankly I don’t ever think ”right now” anyways… That I can ever get into another virtual playground, Webkinz alone takes a considerable amount of time and energy! And I will never give up my little one now Ever!! 

So, thats all I have to say about that… But hey you can’t fault Mattel and Hasbro for trying… I just believe it’s a little to late in the game for them to make any headway with there efforts! “But hey, they may get some users” Not me though!! I’m happy where I’m at :-)  Oh, by the way I was going to post this yesterday… But I was running late for school and by the time I got home I was so tired  I just couldn’t focus. Anyway, I did manage to get those Hannah Montana videos up and with the Lyric’s for ya!!  So have fun and Enjoy!! :-)  Another thing I forgot to mention is the Hannah Montana Doll is breaking records in sales” Not much to say… it say’s it all right there”

Hey, Everyone Just a quick note… It hit me yesterday like a ton of bricks! I believe in a lot of cases, my neices seem to get a lot more done when I happen to be there with them. It took me awhile to really figure it out, but I came to the conclusion that not only was I there to participate in my own webkinz strategies but they loved me being there to help guide them to making the right decisions on a lot of what they were doing. Now, in the past I have played numerous “family oriented games” but none of them can hold a candle to the experience that I have found with Webkinz! The more I play Webkinz with my nieces…The more I see just how powerful this online community really is! “You just can’t get the same experience from a board game!” “Virtual world rocks on so many levels!!”

For example: With you being by there side, you can help them become more knowledgable about how to spend money wisley and save money for things they really need or want. Not to mention the lessons on nurturing thier pets! Feeding, clothing, playing and giving all their pets the attention they need. And at times when they get frustrated, “much like how we do at times as parents” they just can’t give up and throw thier pet away…” They have to figure out a way to make it work for thier pets sake.”

You can teach them the importance of putting thier pet to bed at a certain time everynight, so it becomes a habit! ”As we all know how important that is!” Especially, if you don’t want to have to deal with a cranky pet” They need there sleep just like we do!

And probably “Most Important!!” We as the adults must manage the time our children or in my case nieces spend online. Set up a structured time and end at a reasonable time that you set. Cannot stress enough how important this is for your child to realize! They have to go out and get some fresh air… And of course you already know that being the great parents you are ” I know it’s easy to spend hours online…Time flys when your having fun!!” I use a cooking timer for my nieces LOL ” It works!!”

Also, having these rules set in place will determine greatly… If your child is ready for the responsibility of raising their little pet! ” If they are willing to put up with the rules you laid-out for them… My guess is that they are more than ready to handle the task at hand!” And will make great parents!!

So, you can see from at least what I found out… If you as the parent are willing to be apart of your childrens experience with the World of Webkinz! The rewards can be phenominal!! You can open up a form of communication that you never thought you could of achieved before. As a parent your leadership and guidance can give your child the best experience and education Webkinz World has to offer!! :-)  Have an Awesome Day!!

Hey everyone, what a day I’ve been running all over the place trying to catch up on all my projects… Mainly school… But as of right now I am completely caught up and very happy, that I was able to accomplish that all today. “Took some work though” but thats the price you pay for being a slacker! Anyway, I heard some good news through the grape vine that Kinzchat just may be opening cvery soon Yaaay!! At least I hope so anyway… Well, I’m sure you all know why it was closed in the first place? Security reasons mainly… “You know what they say a few bad eggs can ruin it for a lot of good people!” But, it looks like this is all starting to get sorted out, and we should see a Newer Version of Kinzchat very soon. Exact date nobody really knows:-(  But, just hearing this news put a smile on my face!! Knowing it’s coming…Is always better than not knowing! Well, guys have to run down to the library before it closes on me! Hope, you all have a very nice and super fun day!! :-)   Oh, I am also going to start adding some Hannah Montana videos to my site along with the lyrics to her videos!! “Hope you Enjoy!!”, should start building the page soon it will more than likly be in The Everything Miley Cyrus Page so keep an eye out for it!  Have a Great Day

Well, I hope everyone had a terrific valentines day! And I hope those of you that may have had a rough time realize that I have had many not so good valentines in the past “If any at times.” But, we all have a whole life full of plenty of Valentines moments, so, don’t let it get you down.

Iv’e been reading the news lately on Webkinz and how more and more schools are starting to take notice at the potencial these little guys offer. particularly, how some of these teachers are starting to highly recommend that parents start seeing this as more of a advanced education for the game of life for their children.

Just recently, a school I believe it was Elms Elementry School earned $350.00 and another school had just earned $288.00,there were a few more schools in that list “But I believe you got the point.” All his was done by the purchase of webkinz in various stores throughout our great land!

So, what were they doing? Every webkinz purchased at these shops the owner themselves would Donate $1 to a participating school “how cool is that!” The same go’s for every Lil’ Kinz that was bought .75 was donated to the school aswell.

Anyway, all this makes me very happy as a person and seeing that obviously these little guys have been turning heads in a very positive way! And that it has been becoming a Win Win situation… Parents are starting to realize the benefits of Webkinz…Teachers are starting to stand-up and realize the potential these little guys can offer our children/neices. It has become a huge development tool…I see it in my neices everyday!! They are way more computor savy,they are focusing much better,they are actually learning more about financial decision making, then I ever did at that age. It has been truly incredible seeing how much they have grown since getting involved in webkinz.And pulling me into their little circle makes me very proud

And on top of all that…All the money generated from these certain schools are being used for a wide range of School programs. “Again” how great is that!! Well, I hope everyone has a very great and wonderful week-end!!

Good-morning you guys!! Just wanted to wish everyone here a very Happy Valentines Day!! And also remind you… Not to forget stopping by webkinz and getting your Valentines gift from them. We got hit by some snow here in Denver lastnight! But, from what I can see it looks like the sun is trying to peek out “C’mon sun!!” So, it’s not to bad shouldn’t hamper any activities today… Well, I better get ready, I have to shovel my walk before I can do anything today!
